Rubber fishing nets are arguably the best choice. The rubberized mesh is great for keeping flies unstuck. It is not many as nylon mesh net was webbing that grabbed and ate flies.
Rubber fishing net does better for the fish. Abrasive materials might rub off the protective slime layer on trout, leaving them susceptible to disease and so forth. With the wet rubber mesh, that's not much of an issue. At most cases, it makes unhooking and releasing a bit quicker and easier. Black color is also available.
