Egg yarn fly tying material is a soft, fluffy yarn which is commonly used on Glo Bugs, minnow streamers and other egg patterns. Because it is hydrophobic, egg yarn also works well when wrapped as a body on large dry flies. Very easy to use.
UV Effect: only for Rose, Chartreuse, Green is fluorescent under UV Light.

An egg fly is tied pecifically to represent a salmon egg-a source of food for many species of fish, including rainbow trout, char and grayling ect.
